Trump replays his 2019 head fake: Minnesota is in play for the GOP

And the Trump team runs with this nonsense until the eve of the election.

And what happened?  He lost by more than 7 percentage points!

 

In 2016, Trump received 44.9% of the vote, losing the state to Hillary Clinton with 46.4% . The remaining 8.7% went to third-party candidates.

In other words, he has come nowhere near getting a majority of the votes.

 

And now The New York Times and every media outlet is recycling this non-story.  If nothing else, Trump certainly knows how to distract.
