An aircraft worker reportedly under the influence of LSD has been arrested following a car wreck in which a Playa de Rey woman and here 9-year-old daughter were hurt.
Mrs. Ignacia Pena and Cynthia Marie Pena are both in fair condition.
The suspect, 29-year-old Gene Friebe was slightly hurt and has been booked. He told hospital officials he had taken LSD, was still feeling the effects, and didn't recall the accident.
The police report says he was going about 80 miles per hour on Manchester when he hit two cars. Officers found him at a nearby gas station, and he began a fight when lawmen tried to get him back to the accident scene.
