GET ME REWRITE: Wisconsin GOP legislative leadership ends years with petty party

The Wisconsin Legislature is now officially done for the year. The Senate held is final floor period yesterday and the Assembly wrapped up its work weeks ago. While most of us can’t fathom having the rest of the year off, maybe it’s a good thing. At least we’ll get a break from the pettiness that has marred this legislative session. On their final day on the job, Senators used their time for some good old-fashioned political retribution. Stung by their recent election losses, Republicans who control the Senate chose to lash out at Governor Evers’ appointees for a number of positions on state boards and agencies.

We need a party leadership that is willing to work FOR Wisconsin!
