Really? This photo was taken in January 1964? Retiring Guy asked himself, skeptically.

There's no snow on the ground, and the 3 alleged hitchhikers looked to be dressed for spring weather.

But then there are ways to figure this stuff out.

Madison experienced a week of unseasonably mild weather from January 17 to 24, with the 22nd being the warmest day.
