No 'likely' about it now.

In a letter to the city, the owner of the property, B&G Realty, a subsidiary of the Marcus Corp., has indicated it wants the building removed by October but at this time has no redevelopment plans for the property. 

Eastgate Cinema closed in 2015 after its parent company, Marcus Theatres, opened the 12-screen Palace Cinema in Sun Prairie’s Prairie Lakes shopping center.
