Let’s face it – nobody likes an outspoken woman. Expressing an opinion, and god forbid – expressing anger regarding any form of injustice perpetrated against them is considered annoying, too angry, too loud, uninformed – the list goes on.

They have plenty of company.



According to Merriam-Webster, the first known use of 'mansplain', as in to explain something to a woman in a condescending way that assumes she has no knowledge about the topic, occurred in 2008.
