According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Connecticut's 10 largest cities register population gains since 2020, with New Haven leading the way

Despite an influx of residents moving here from York City during the COVID-19 pandemic, Connecticut's population figures remain flat, as residents in their prim income-earning age moved out of the state

Offsetting gains from the Big Apple were Connecticut residents who moved to florida and other southern regions.
