John Spiros of Marshfield says with the rising popularity of electric or battery-powered vehicles, lawn equipment, and snowblowers it’s important to make sure that consumers who want traditional gas-powers apparatuses don’t get shut out. 

“We should protect the freedom to choose which source of power or energy we prefer to utilize, whether it be gas, electric, or even something that hasn’t been invented,” said Spiros in his weekly E-News update on Friday.
