You said goodbye to Sundance Cinemas in 2015, now say goodbye to AMC Hilldale Theaters

Corporate food chain.

Carmike Cinema, based in Georgia, bought Sundance Cinema in October 2015 and was in turn bought out by AMC Theaters 6 months later.   It was at this point when the former Sundance facility entered a period of serious decline.

Now it makes way for further development at Hilldale Shopping Center.   The building will be demolished to make way for more retail.
