GET ME REWRITE: Putting Sawyer County Wisconsin's current 7-day average of new Covid cases in perspective

Sawyer County currently has the 3rd highest percentage increase of new Covid cases among Wisconsin's 72 counties during the past 14 days. (+527%)

Daily average of new Covid cases here has increased 500% during the past month.  On the other hand, daily average of new Covid cases has decreased 74% since its January 2022 peak of 38.

Covid info:  New York Times (above and below)
Headline:  Wisconsin State Journal, 5/16/2022
The counties with high rates are Barron and Rusk in the northwestern part of the state; La Crosse County and neighboring Monroe and Vernon counties; and Kenosha and Racine counties in southeastern Wisconsin.
Curious to know why Sawyer County wasn't included on this list as, in addition to its recent 527% increase in new Covid cases, it recently saw a bump in hospitalizations.

The New York Times ranks its 3rd among Wisconsin's hot spots.
