Middleton WI: Revisiting the ADDI controversy

Neighborhood NIMBYs reveal their fears of an invasion of apartment dwellers.

Beware the shadows!!

At the Feb. 5 council meeting, 13 Middleton residents called on council members to reject the zoning changes by invoking concerns ranging from intrusive shadows to traffic to property value decline to a change in the neighborhood’s character.

Even in winter, they remain with the boundaries of the property.

The ADDI has since been renamed The Kestrel Apartments,  The building is now occupied.  (You can learn more about its development here.)

And what all about all that traffic?

This 35-year resident of the neighborhood just south of Kestrel hasn't noticed any change.
