GET ME REWRITE: When it comes to support for same-sex marriage, Wisconsin Republicans and out and out troglodytes

Gallup

When Gallup first began asking this question in 1996, just 27% of Americans endorsed the legal recognition of gay and lesbian marriages. The data comes from Gallup's annual Values and Beliefs poll, which was conducted last month. [emphasis added]
Which is likely higher than the current percentage of Wisconsin's GOP state legislators who support for gay marriage.

Probably none of these troglodytes, led by the incorrigible Robin Vos.
