GET ME REWRITE: Don't expect to see any of these white faces from the retrograde MacIver Institute at a Tony Evers press briefing

The John K. MacIver Institute for Public Policy (all about white privilege, in other words) earlier this year appealed a unanimous federal appeals court ruling upholding the Evers policy, asking the nation's highest court to hear the case.
The justices denied their request to take up the appeal after meeting on Friday, according to the court's order list released Monday.
The move keeps in place Evers' policy of at times hosting invite-only press briefings for some but not all reporters, researchers and writers who cover state government — some of which are tied to partisan organizations.

"We find that the Governor’s media-access criteria are indeed reasonable and not an effort to suppress MacIver’s expression because of its viewpoint," Judge Ilana Rovner wrote for the panel. "The Governor contends that its criteria are intended to consider limited space constraints, address security concerns, and ensure that those in attendance will maximize the public’s access to newsworthy information, and be more likely to abide by professional journalistic standards such as honoring embargoes and off-the-record communications."

This conservative crackpot is one of MacIver's go-to political analysts.
