Josie experienced a slow slide during the 1st 4 decades of the 20th century, which accelerated during the 20 years after that.  By the mid-1960s, she looked ready to drop off the chart.  But after bouncing around for another 2 decades, she started to turn it around in the mid-1980s and is currently at her peak position.
