Cassie appeared to be on a bumpy road to oblivion during the first 4 decades of the 20th century.  She fell off the chart twice during the middle of the century, but after her second return managed to claw her way into the top 200, where she spent 8 years (1982-89), peaking at #138 in 1982.  Her subsequent fall from favor was much steeper than her first.
