Dear New York Times, Kenosha County voters were already swaying in August 2020

 

In November 2016, Republican Donald Trump won the county by 238 votes with 47.2% of the total.

In November 2018, Democratic challenger Tony Evers beat two-term GOP incumbent Scott Walker by 2,969 votes with 50.7% of the total.

In April 2020, liberal challenger Jill Karofsky beat Scott Walker-appointed conservative Daniel Kelly by 4,803 votes with nearly 57% of the total.
