Retiring Guy has a question for the New York Times

Since the beginning of April, the column graph takes on a rthymic effect.  The good news is that we haven't had a 30,000+ day since May 1st.


 Active cases took a dip on May 12th, but otherwise we've seen a steady increase...

...as the teal line in the this graph below.
