October and November Marquette polls highlight respondents' disconnect between 'the President' and 'Trump'

Inconsistency, thy name is Marquette!

1.  Do you think.....the President.... (+ specificity, i.e., "ask China and Ukraine to conduct investigations on American citizens?
2.  Do you think Trump..... (+ lack of specificity, i.e., "did something wrong".

Look at the shift

• 18-29.  25 percentage points in Trump's favor.
• 30-44.  23 percentage points in Trump's favor.
• 45-59.  41 percentage points in Trump's favor.  (Hello, Gen X!)
• 60+.     43 percentage points in Trump's favor.  (OkBoomer)
