The GOP forfeited the House in 2018, largely after losing suburban women voters, a key voting bloc that turns out at the polls but with whom Trump has proved particularly unpopular since becoming president."Increasing support from suburban women?" That's a nonstarter, Tim.
Fast-growing Washington County, located just east of Ramsey and Hennepin counties, is part of the Twin Cities metro area.

Presidential elections are generally close contests here, and GOP voters, it appears, are discriminating. Trump received 4,703 fewer voter than Romney in 2012, a drop of nearly 4 percentage points. Clinton also underperformed but still beat Trump by 2,558 votes.
