GET ME REWRITE: Iowa Democratic Party chair insists that white people will be first

Hello, Iowa.  It's the 21st century!

DNC recommends scrapping Iowa's virtual caucuses. Iowa Democratic Party chair insists Iowa will still be first.  (Des Moines Register, 8/30/2019)
Waiting until 2024 is nothing more than foot-dragging.  But as the DNC actively encourages states to move away from caucuses and toward primaries, even some Iowans questioned whether it's time to abandon Iowa's closely guarded caucus system.

Is it ever!

Adair County:  96.2% white.  56% population loss since its 1920 peak.

Adams County:  96.6% white.  73% population loss since its 1900 peak.

Appanoose County:  95.2% white.  59% population loss since its 1920 peak.

Audubon County:  96.7% white.  58% population loss since its 1920 peak.

Benton County:  96.4% white.

And these column graphs just scratch the surface.
