- 33% would definitely vote for Democratic opponent
- 11% would likely vote for Democratic opponent
- 11% would vote for other candidate

Then we havev this poll at the height of the Tea Party frenzy
Other not quite apples-to-apples findings:
- 44% plan to vote for someone else
- 13% considering that option
Obama won 51.1% of the vote in 2012 compared to Romney's 47.2%. In 2017, Obama left office with a 59% approval rating, according to Gallup, up from 40% at a number of points in 2014.
Trump started out his presidency with a 45%/47% approval/ disapproval ratings and is currently at 39%/55%.
