Don't worry about those washed-out roads, northern Wisconsin; Scott Walker mouthpiece sez DOT is flush with cash

A state of emergency was declared in Douglas County on Sunday and sections of U.S. Highways 2, 35, 53, 63 and 137 closed because of flooding, according to the Wisconsin Department of Emergency Management. 
Heavy rains in northern Wisconsin dropped 7 to 12 inches of rain over the weekend with the most damage reported in Douglas, Ashland, Bayfield, Price, Iron and Sawyer counties.
