Olive was something of a big deal in the late 19th century -- the 88th most popular name for girls in both the 1880s and 1890s. She experienced an increasingly severe downward trajectory during the 1st half of the 20th century, falling out of view in 1951. In 2008, she mounted a comeback, which appears to have lost its momentum in 2014.
