Total Wine UPDATE: Now open for business

Gleaming, well-stock aisles

Don't let the empty aisles fool you.  During this visit, the store was very busy, espeially at the checkout lines.  Demonstrating great patience, I managed to shoot these photos with as few people in the frame as possible.

Extensive wine selection, of course, easier to browse than Woodman's

Lots of mix-and-match beer choices -- as well as standard packaging options

A Comprehensive Guide to Understanding Dave and Busters.  (7/11/2011)

Wherein the following questions are answered:
  1. What is a Power Card?
  2. What do I have to do in order to go and play games there?
  3. What are "chips," "tickets," and "tokens" used for?
  4. How do I get a card from one location to work a different store?
  5. How do I get tickets put on my card?
  6. Can't I just pay cash for a certain prize at the store?
  7. What's the big deal about registering my card(s)?

Having never visited Dave and Buster's myself, I can vouch for the currency of the answers.

Today, restaurants and food establishments might occupy between 20 and 40 percent of a shopping center. A decade ago it was closer to 10 or 15 percent, according to commercial real estate and investment giant CBRE Group.

As anchors close, Southridge and other malls turn to less retail and more fun.  (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 1/27/2018)
Or in the case of West Towne, shrinks.  The bowling and amusement center planned for Southridge Mall not only stands to help fill the big hole left by the closing of Sears last fall; it also puts the Greendale shopping center squarely in the flow of a growing trend among malls nationwide.
