UPDATE. Those oldies but goodies perform well in presidential poll versus Trump

For the record, I don't consider Oprah a member of the 'oldies but goodies' group, as she has never run for political office.  But her name was included in the poll, so I offer the results here.

Still, polling this far ahead of an election fails to fully reflect the realities of a campaign — namely, the focused negative messaging that the sitting President currently faces.

Like when Chris Christie was determined to be the GOP frontrunner 4 years ago?  Yet pollsters just can't help themselves.

Little Caesar and the Romans' one-hit wonder, "Those Oldies But Goodies" debuted at #80 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending May 7, 1961.  The song spent 13 weeks on the chart, peaking at #9 for 2 weeks.

Definitely not a catchy 2020 Democratic primary theme song.

Is the bench that weak?

Keep an open mind, folks.  Not always a good idea to be a frontrunner at this point in time.
