Badger Bowl to close after 39 years in Madison. (Wisconsin State Journal, 8/11/2016)
Owners of the bowling alley and popular music venue are in negotiations to sell the property at 506 E. Badger Road to a developer who plans to build a luxury car dealership on the site,
Town Chairman Jim Campbell said Wednesday. Campbell identified the buyer as Field Enterprises, which sells Land Rover and other premium brands. Illinois-based Field Auto Group operates Fields Jaguar Land Rover Volvo of Madison at 6624 Seybold Road.
Once upon a time, Badger Bowl wouldn't have needed sand volleyball as a draw.
