In Madison, thousands of residents vote early at their public library

Absentee voting in Madison is setting records, city officials say.  (Wisconsin State Journal, 10/27/2016)
Since Sept. 26, the city has issued 35,497 absentee ballots, 31,241 of which have been returned to be counted, according to City Clerk Maribeth Witzel-Behl. The old record of absentee ballots issued was 32,012 in November 2008. The old mark for absentee ballots returned to be counted was 29,199 in November 2012.
