State Sen. Mary Lazich led Wisconsin down a path of failure in 2012

As quoted in Abstinence Push Wins in Wisconsin.  (Wall Street Journal, 3/14/2012)

The bill was sponsored by 4 GOP senators and 23 GOP representatives.  (OK, 1 Assembly member -- Bob Ziegelbauer -- who identified as an independent but caucused with the Republicans.)

I suspect none of them read any of these selections:
Abstinence-Only Education and Teen Pregnancy Rates: Why We Need Comprehensive Sex Education in the U.S.  (National Center for Biotechnology Information.
The Truth About Abstinence-Only Programs.  (Advocates for Youth)
What the Research Says… Abstinence-Only-Until-Marriage Programs.  (SIECUS fact sheet)

Sen. Lazich is retiring at the end of the year, but don't expect her successor to embrace anything but the most conservative GOP principles, whenever the whim strikes.
