In the company's notice to DWD, Littelfuse human resources representative Provvi Cuffaro said the company decided to discontinue the production of reed switches at that location. The first positions will be eliminated beginning Dec. 15, Cuffaro said. Company officials were not available for immediate comment Friday. [emphasis added]
