Circulation of physical units
During the past quarter century (1990-2014), circulation of physical units (print books and periodicals, CDs, DVDs, etc.) at Wisconsin public libraries has increased nearly 50%.  Since its peak year of 2009, however, circulation of print materials has decreased 12%.  The addition of downloadable content (statistics first available in 2012) provides a moderating effect.

Programs
During the past quarter century, the number of programs offered each year by Wisconsin public libraries has increased 265%.  In 2014, the number of programs increased by 3,045 over the the previous year's tally.  On average, this boost translates into an additional 8 programs per library.

Program attendance
During the past quarter century, program attendance at Wisconsin public libraries has increased 160%. Recent annual increases have averaged around 3%.
