You can cut down only so many ash trees in a day

Yesterday I speculated that this obviously diseased, dying ash tree was not located on the corner property of Anderson and Cooper, where the removal of 3 trees had just taken place

But these removals take time, as I should know from the loss of a towering silver maple two summers ago.  (Photos to follow in a later post.)
