Two-Term State Assembly Rep Considers Run Against Career U.S. House Rep

GOP assemblyman says he may run against Petri. (Appleton Post Crescent, 3/27/2014)

35 years and counting.   Petri, who was first elected to represent Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District in 1979, will run in his 17th election this fall.

Tom Petri won a special election to the U.S. House of Representatives in April 1979 and has been re-elected ever since.
