Excerpt: The carefully crafted grant requirements were unanimously voted into the state budget in May after just seven minutes of discussion by the Legislature's Joint Finance Committee, which acted on a motion drafted by outgoing Assembly Majority Leader Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford) and Rep. Dan LeMahieu (R-Cascade).

Heck of a job.  And for all his hard work, Suder gets a cushy political appointment.

Maybe we should keep our eyes on this guy's whereabouts over the next few months.  He also has his fingerprints all over these "carefully crafted grant requirements".

The United Sportsmen of Wisconsin describes itself as a newly formed organization that aims to protect the rights of sportsmen and preserve this strong Wisconsin heritage for many more generations. USW will recruit members from every county in Wisconsin, initially focusing on regions of the state that need the most urgent attention to protect the rights of hunters, fishermen, trappers and gun owners.

Yes, I can see why mining is a top priority.
