In the News: Kerry Bentivolio (R-MI, 11th Congressional District)

Can  you spell "gerrymander"?  (It didn't make the list of the 5 ugliest.   10 more examples.)

Bentivolio won the seat with 50.8% of the vote in November 2012.

And why is he in the news?

Well, consider this a nutburger alert.

Ignoring Qualms, Some Republicans Nurture Dreams of Impeaching Obama. (The New York Times, 8/24/2013)

Excerpt:    Representative Kerry Bentivolio, [moderate?] a freshman Republican from Michigan, has a legislative dream. It is not to balance the federal budget, or find a way to help his ailing state or even take away money from the federal health care program, a goal that has so animated many other Republicans this summer.

Rather, Mr. Bentivolio told constituents, it is to put in motion the impeachment of President Obama. “If I could write that bill and submit it, it would be a dream come true,” he said this month.
