A Great Library Advocacy Message from Baltimore (But a Different Ad, Please)



Additional excerpt:   I was met with polls on how much time teens spent on the Internet. It seems that for people my age, visiting the library is a dying tradition that needs to be revived.

Omitting the reference to the Internet, the "visiting the library is a dying tradition" could just as easily describe my peer group in the mid-to-late 1960s.


My visits to the Warren Public Library dropped precipitously by the time I entered high school.
