It's The Same All Over
For Weight Loss, Less Exercise May Be More. (The New York Times, 9/19/2012)
Excerpt: To reach that conclusion, the Danish scientists rounded up a group of pudgy and sedentary young men, a segment of the population increasingly common in Denmark, as elsewhere in the world.
The Maine Healing Center had something to say about the topic at the beginning of the year. "Why less calories and more exercise don't equal weight loss."
And I suppose this 2007 article from Science News can now be considered ancient history.
I've lost 10 pounds since July by eating less* -- and probably exercising less, the latter mostly translated as fewer bike rides. (*Less cheese, in particular. Go ahead, call me a heretic.)
