New York Public Library President's DWI as Imagined by BigAppleDailyTV



Excerpt: The president of the New York Public Library has been arrested on drunken driving charges after he backed into a parked car in upper Manhattan.

Police say 52-year-old Anthony Marx was arrested Sunday. He pleaded not guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated at his arraignment Monday and released on his own recognizance. He's due back in court Dec. 9.

The New York Times says Marx's blood-alcohol level at the time of his arrest was tested at 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal limit. The paper says Marx released a statement through a library spokeswoman saying he deeply regrets the embarrassment caused to his family and the library
