Methinks Monroe County Supervisors Don't Know Troughs

Example of a company that paid its execs more othan $70,000,000 in compensation when shareholder value tanked by about $6,000,000,000.

Excerpt: Supervisor Dan Olson made a motion to approve the budget with a one percent reduction across the board in all departments.

The motion failed for a lack of a second.

But other supervisors did agree that the county should be fiscally conscious and not "feed from the trough."
