Roger Williams Dies in Autumn



Roger Williams' first and biggest hit in the rock-and-roll era.

"Autumn Leaves" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending August 20, 1955.  It spent 26 weeks on the chart, 4 weeks at #1.

Other top ten hits: "Near You" in 1958 and "Born Free" in 1966.
