Letter Writer: Don't Forget the Importance of Green Lake's Public Library

Letter: GL's library also is part of area's appeal. (Ripon Commonwealth Press, 8/3/2011)

Excerpt: When I moved to Green Lake, 33 years ago, the library was very small and in the lower level of City Hall.

Tom Caestecker first built the city and surrounding area a new library on the corner of Mill and South streets and then he built the current one on Hill Street and the Historical Society moved into the first library Mr. Caesteckerr built.

Now we have a very fine library that offers many services for all age groups and is staffed by some of the best, most competent people you or Mr. Ducharme could ever meet
