Meet John Klenke, Freshman Republican Legislator from Wisconsin's 88th Assembly District

28th in a series.

Klenke defeated the Democratic incumbent Jim Soletski, who was elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2008.




The 88th District is located entirely within the City of Green Bay and includes the Central Library and East Branch.

    I am a non-union member and just want to let you know that I am 100% against the part of Gov. Walker's so-called budget-repair bill that would curtail collective bargaining for union members. It definitely looks like a power ploy to bust unions as it has no fiscally redeeming quality.
