Mukwonago Receives $25,000 for Expansion/Renovation Project
Link to September 7 Sussex Sun article, "Library scores big".
Excerpt: Jeanne Romanowski of Mukwonago used to teach library science, but that doesn't mean she didn't need help using the library in a technologically advanced world.
"I know how to use a library," she said. "But I didn't know how to do it with a computer."
She and her husband, Bob, just donated $25,000 to the Mukwonago Community Library's expansion and renovation project. Romanowski said she's grateful to the library and its staff for helping her use the library differently.
Romanowski explained that over the years, the library has been exceptionally helpful to her.
"I'm 80-plus," she said. "They were always so patient and understanding teaching me the more modern use of the library and the computers."
