Need for More Space at Twin Lakes/Randall Branch of Community Library

Link to August 17 mykenosha.com article, "Library plans to keep options open for better facility".

Excerpt: "We need to keep all options open and we are not looking to build a palace, but we want a long-term solution" were comments made by Community Library trustee Michael Faber (Silver Lake) and chair of the library facility committee. Under discussion was what to do about the cramped Twin Lakes/Randall branch of that library.

Those options include adding to the current rental space, looking for other possible locations and exploring the plans that had been created for a parcel owned by the village of Twin Lakes next to the current police station.

Library trustee Irene Swan (Randall) is a member of the facilities committee and stated that four years ago, Dan Holian, landlord for the current site had offered to add about 3,000 square feet to the building to accommodate library needs
