Wisconsin State Journal article, "A tide of words instead of water: Library reopens after flood".
Excerpt: Summer seems a little more like summer in this northwestern Sauk County village as trips to the LaValle Public Library have resumed for school-free children, retirees and other bibliophiles.
The library's 6,000 books were sprung from storage and placed on shelves in a $200,000 facility that doubles as the village hall and is twice the size of the former facility, a one-room schoolhouse built in the late 1800s but heavily damaged by floodwaters in June 2008.
