Excerpt: The author of the new book "The Wisconsin Road Guide to Gangster Hot Spots," [Chad] Lewis has researched Wisconsin's rich history of hosting the 20th century's most notorious outlaws, and has sought to dig up new details often found in small towns.
He'll be giving two free presentations on gangsters' connections to Wisconsin on May 20 at the Marshfield Public Library, 211 E. Second St.
