CES2020: Sunflower Labs home security drone

How Businesses Can Adopt the Latest Home Security Tech.  (Thomas, 2/28/2020)
Sunflower Labs’ Bee Drone.   Sunflower Labs’ home security system was designed for residential properties but could just as easily be deployed around the outside of manufacturing facilities. It’s made up of three parts:
  • The “Sunflowers” — motion and vibration sensors placed around the property that can differentiate between people, animals, and cars, and send a “heat map” of activity to the user’s app. The Sunflowers look a bit like ordinary yard lights.
  • The “Bee” — an airborne drone which, when alerted by the Sunflowers, hovers above an intruder and provides a video of the unauthorized guest to the app’s user. The Bee has precision GPS and ultrasonic collision-avoidance sensors.
  • The “Hive” — the brain of the system and the charging point for the Bee.
