Then and now: Monument Circle, Indianapolis

Then.  Linen postcard from the late 1930s, I'd guess.

From Retiring Guy's postcard collection

Now.  The new kid on the block is the Salesforce Tower (1990), Indiana's tallest building at 811 feet/49 stories.

To the right of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the postcard is the Circle Building, an art deco gem completed in 1930.

Just to the left of the monument is the Columbia Club, built in 1925.  Members only, please.

And to the left of the Columbia Club is Christ Church Cathedral, on which construction began in 1857.
