Wisconsin 2018 elections UPDATE: Who won in the 15th Assembly District?


Joe Sanfelippo (R-New Berlin) is elected to a 4th term in the Assembly.  His winning margin of 12 percentage point is also his smallest.

Wisconsin 2018 elections UPDATE: Who won in the 13th Assembly District?


After a lopsided win in 2012, which seemed to scare away any competition for the next two election cycles, Rob Hutton found himself in a tight race with Dennis McBride.  Good news going forward for Democrats.

"He (Hutton) is a nice person. We had a nice phone call and I told him I want to run the campaign as friends who disagree and focus on the issues. He said we are friends, and this is how we will conduct our campaigns," McBride said.

"Hooked on a Feeling" by B. J. Thomas debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending November 16, 1968


Although the Temptations made the most noise with the debut of 'Cloud Nine' at #45, compared to #97 for B. J. Thomas, "Hooked on a Feeling" ended up being the better performer, 5 weeks in the top 10 compared to 3 for 'Cloud Nine' and 4 more weeks on the Hot 100 overall.

2008-2010 drop in Democratic voter participation:  43% vs. 7% for Republicans.
2012-2014 drop in Democratic voter participation:  29% vs. 10% for Republicans.

Walker's vote total increased by 5% in 2014 compared to 2010.  Mary Burke received 12% more votes than Tom Barrett in 2010.
