Waukesha County voters seem perfectly content to poison themselves with radium-tainted groundwater

Failure at the faucet:  As wells go deeper, radium levels rise in state tap water.  (Wisconsin Watch, 3/5/2016)
Waukesha being a county with a major problem with radium-tainted groundwater.  Another factor fueling Wisconsin’s radium problem is the lack of regulation of high-capacity wells, which can lead to depletion of groundwater. As communities such as Sussex drill wells deeper into a diminishing aquifer to meet growing water demands, they are pulling up more radium contamination and creating a public health challenge.
