John Poindexter on Antonin Scalia: On the one hand, he's an invited guest; on the other hand, I just met the guy

Meet the owner of the so-called "West Texas ranch"/"hunting lodge".

Admit it, you didn't picture a pricey, exclusive resort when you first heard the news of Scalia's death.

The ranch is 30,000-acre getaway that is home to John B. Poindexter, according to the website of J.B. Poindexter & Co. It is a remote location that has reportedly attracted the likes of Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall and Bruce Willis.

As quoted in Scalia's last moments on a Texas ranch — quail hunting to being found in 'perfect repose'.  (Los Angeles Times, 2/14/2016)

Scalia stayed in the El Presidente Lakeside Cibolo.  Note the price.

Why would a Supreme Court justice accept a $700+ per night freebie at a resort favored by “a lot of Hollywood people and captains of industry”?

To me, it's a decision that demonstrates dubious judgment and a lack of character from someone overly full of himself.
